Klipsch The Sevens II And The Nines II Powered Speakers Come Equipped With Dirac Technology

Next-generation powered speakers become among the first of their kind to feature Dirac’s room correction technology.

Dirac has announced that its Dirac Live Room Correction technology comes integrated in Klipsch’s new The Sevens II and The Nines II powered speakers, making them among the first powered, two-channel speakers to feature the room-optimization technology. Dirac Live Bass Control will also be available as a paid upgrade and requires the use of subwoofers.

Dirac Live Room Correction uses patented impulse-response and mixed-phase correction algorithms to mitigate room-induced coloration, timing errors, and bass inconsistencies – issues that hardware alone cannot resolve.

With Dirac Live Room Correction, users can expect a larger, more stable sweet spot; more accurate imaging and staging; enhanced clarity and voice intelligibility; and deeper, tighter, more consistent bass. These benefits are especially impactful in modern living spaces where speaker placement is often constrained by furniture, layout, or décor.

Powered by machine learning and AI, Dirac Live Bass Control co-optimizes a system’s subwoofers and speakers to deliver consistent bass in any listening position. It collects measurement and location data from each subwoofer to map bass distribution, identifies gaps in the sound waves, and redistributes bass evenly across the listening area.

The Sevens II and The Nines II will be available in Spring 2026 from Klipsch and all authorized Klipsch retailers, with Dirac Live full bandwidth activation available here.
