The latest entrant to Dynaudio’s esteemed Heritage Collection is the Contour Legacy, a floorstanding speaker that blends nostalgic design with cutting-edge sound technology. Echoing the aesthetics of the iconic 1980s and ’90s Contour models, this new speaker incorporates Dynaudio’s renowned 28mm Esotar 3 soft-dome tweeter and dual 18cm woofers derived from the Evidence range, all refined to deliver an unparalleled acoustic performance. Handcrafted at the company’s headquarters in Skanderborg, Denmark, the Contour Legacy is finished in sustainable American Walnut, with only 1000 pairs available globally, making each a collector's item.
Dynaudio has taken a significant leap with the introduction of the Confidence 20A, an active adaptation of its flagship Confidence 20 standmount speaker. This model simplifies the high-end audio setup by integrating the amplifier within the speaker’s stand, featuring discreet yet accessible controls and both analog and digital XLR connectivity. Equipped with amplifiers from Pascal and advanced DSP capabilities, the Confidence 20A offers listeners the purest possible digital signal path, mirroring the professional standards of Dynaudio’s Core reference speakers.
The Contour family grows with the Contour 20 Black Edition, enhancing the well-loved Contour 20i with significant upgrades. Now equipped with the Esotar 3 tweeter and an overhauled crossover packed with premium components, this speaker is poised to deliver a more refined sound. Presented in a striking Black High Gloss finish, it pairs perfectly with contemporary interiors while maintaining its celebrated acoustic pedigree.
In a remarkable collaboration with Keiji Ashizawa Design and Karimoku, Dynaudio introduces The Bookshelf, a masterpiece that stands as a testament to minimalist design influenced by both Danish and Japanese aesthetics. Crafted from sustainably sourced Japanese oak, this speaker not only looks exquisite but also packs a serious acoustic punch with the same mid/bass driver found in the Confidence 20 and the Esotar 3 tweeter. The Bookshelf is set to become a rare gem in the audio world, with limited production ensuring exclusivity.
Not confined to home audio systems, Dynaudio is also showcasing its prowess in automotive audio with the Evidence sound system, featured in the luxurious Yangwang U8 electric off-roader. With 22 speakers fine-tuned to deliver the most authentic sound, Dynaudio ensures that the art of listening extends well beyond the living room.
